FSPs must have at least 7 years of experience, be nominated by their current firm, and have an acceptable compliance record. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Research Summary (as of July 2026): Out of over 19,402 nominations, based on thresholds, 1,883 professionals received the award (the amount in each state varies based on populations).
